It must be a good place...

We had to wait a bit for a table tonight, and so sat at the bar in the meantime. My companion noted that the two men sitting next to me were obviously bodyguards, so we started scanning the room for important-looking people. It was only as we walked to our table when I saw him: Avigdor Lieberman, the Foreign Minister, seated a few feet away with a small group, enjoying his dinner. Wow.

Yes, but Liberman was saying, Damn! That's Nachum Lamm!

I used to see R Norman Lamm now & again in a pleasant dairy place that used to be on 72nd near Columbus.

I once saw R Jackie Mason in a weird dairy place that used to be on 72nd between Amsterdam and Columbus - can't remember the name, they had a couple other branches on the UES and Coney Island Ave.

Oh, and at the Seforim Sale, my friend and I met Lawrence Schiffman at the Chinese place across from Belfer.

The Jewish world is pretty small.
